The students selected pieces of art they were interested in and reflected on these pieces in their Unit books. They thought about why the artist may have created the piece. Was in in response to something they have seen or experienced or did the art have a message? They also considered their emotional response to the piece of art. How did it make them feel and why? Was it the content, colors, style, message that affected them?
They also sketched some of their favorite pieces.
