We listened to an audio recording for the final chapters. Some students followed along with the book, others closed their eyes and listened to the story, visualizing as they cooled down after Angkor training.
We then watched the first 40 minutes of the film and made comparisons with the book and the way we saw the characters in our heads.
Charlottes web is a children's novel by author E.B. White and illustrated by Garth Williams. It is a classic, was published in 1952 and is set in England. The film is rated G.
We will watch the rest of the film next week and make connections with the story, the characters and some events.
