Computer Art a la Picasso!

The Grade 4 students tried creating Picasso style pictures on the computer today.
They have saved their creations on their own blogs.
They can continue to create at home.

There are so many ways to be creative with a computer!  Here’s a site where you can click and drag to create your very own Picasso-like portrait. This would be a fun activity for students after learning about the real Picasso!  Be sure to check out this site’s “gallery” to see the fun others have had at PicassoHead.com!

2. Choose a head shape and drag it to your canvas.  You can make it bigger or smaller, flip it around, change the color or angle… you name it!
3. Then drag objects from the other categories to add your choice of eyes, noses, lips, hair and other features.  Tweak them as you did for the head to get them just the way you want.
4. Finally, add your signature. Then save it to the PicassoHead Gallery and share it with your friends, or pop on your blog.
