They spoke to the artists about their work. They discussed their reaction to the piece. They thought about how it made them feel and what meaning it may have. They wondered what the message might be. The artist (Grade 11 student) then shared their thoughts, discussed the massage and how they tried to achieve that.
There was a lot of discussion about identity and how we have many layers. What we see is not always is happening beneath the surface.
The Grade 4 students will respond to one of the Art pieces they viewed today on their blogs.
