Measurement

We have also been working on estimating the length of objects and improving our measurement skills.

The students found objects in the classroom that were 1mm long, 1 cm long, 5 cm long ...
There were some very creative answers.

1mm = A fullstop, One of Kim Chhoung's hairs, a tiny speck on the carpet, the end of a pin.

The students will be measuring items at home this week for homework and will be checking to see if their estimates of mm, cm, and meter are more accurate later in the week.
