What is racism?

Racism is having or showing the belief that a particular race is superior to another.
Racism causes a lot of conflict and injustice in the world.

We are thinking about racism as we continue to read Iggie's House.

Winnie is being very friendly to her new neighbors but she seems to be the only one. Clarice is insulting and rude to Tina, Glenn and Matthew. Mrs Landon comes to Winnie's house with a petition and Winnie's mother is keen to sign it but Winnie's father hesitates saying he "is not so sure about this".
