Looking at an issue from different perspectives

We watched a documentary about the Mekong dam and considered the advantages of the dam and disadvantages of the dam.

The students selected which perspective they were interested in researching further.
Some will present the perspective of someone who is in favor of the Dam project. Others will present the perspective of someone who is against the Dam project.

We will work on this project during Language / Unit sessions next week.
Students will be creating scripts and using iMovie to put together an Insight news segment where they state their case for or against the dam.

Pro Dam (positives of the dam) - Businessperson/ Government perspective
