Grade 5 Exhibition

The Grade 4 students visited the Grade 5 Exhibition today. 
They thought about their favorite part, what they learn't and discussed their feelings about doing Exhibition next year. Here are some of their thoughts. 

Favorite part

The shadow dancing because it was beautiful and they told a story.

The shadow dancing was very cool. You might have a different picture in your head to others around you.

I loved the drama groups because they were very persuasive.

The drama performances helped me understand different perspectives.

I liked the scratch game because it was clever and well made.

I loved the dance because the movements were so graceful.

The dance was beautiful but it made me feel sad.

The dance affected a lot of people. It can help people change their minds about violence.

I liked the dance props and all the dance forms.

My favorite part was the sad, sad dance. It had a lot of meaning.

The plays had a good message, were meaningful and the actors were expressive. They were also funny.

The dance showed the students feelings. The music matched the movements and made us think.

I loved the dance. It was very powerful and moving.

I learn’t

That we all really need to take action to help the animals and the environment.

That you have to work together and it might be hard to agree.

I learned that it is not always good to give money to beggars. Sometimes they are being manipulated by other people. Better that we support NGO’s like Friends and help them go to school.

I learned about Pangolins and how they are killed because people think their spikes are good in medicine.

I learn’t that there are many ways to make peace. We need to stop being selfish and care for everything in the world.

There are many horrible things in the world but we can change them.

I learn’t there are 4-6 million landmines still in Cambodia. This is really awful.

I know we need to be careful who we give money to. If we really want to help we need to support organizations that help families and send children to school.  

I have so many feelings about next year. I am scared, nervous, excited and happy. I hope I like the people in my group and we work well together.

I learn’t that our passion helps us take action because when we are interested we work hard.

I learn’t about many issues. I am really interested in land mines because there are so

We need to change the way we think and behave so the future is as bright as it is now and we can all lead safe, happy lives.

How I feel about doing Exhibition next year

I feel excited and a bit nervous about doing Exhibition.

Next year I will try to be brave and do my best. I think it will also be a lot of fun.

I am excited about next year. I think it will be awesome.

I feel prepared. My dream is to help raise awareness and money to help endangered animals.

I think it is going to be very hard but I am excited and can’t wait to be on stage. The Grade 5’s inspired me and I know I can help change the world.

I feel curious and excited. I can’t wait.

I am a bit nervous about next year. What if people don’t like what we do? I would like to do drama because i love acting and expressing my feelings.

The Exhibition was very interesting. I loved watching all the performances and wonder if i could do something the same or maybe even better.

I felt inspired by the Grade 5’s work. The games, paintings, sculpture and music were all fantastic.

I am feeling excited about the exhibition next year. It will be great and I will learn so much.
