Reading
1) Remember to read for at least 15 minutes every day and record the time/pages you have read in your reading log.
2) Prepare for your buddy session this week. Choose a picture book from home or the school library you would like to read to your buddy. Practice reading it with clarity and expression. Bring the book to school on Thursday for your buddy session.

Mathematics
1) Find an interesting fact about a country you have visited. The fact must involve a 6 - 7 digit number (see example below).
Write your number in standard form, expanded form and in words in your homework book.
2) Math goal: Keep practicing your multiplication goal (ie improve speed and accuracy X7) at home. You will have a quiz with your chosen X table on Friday.

Writing / Blogs
1) Write 3 blog posts on your blog at home. Each post should include one paragraph of writing and a photograph.
2) Share your blog with your parents. Show them how they can comment on your blog.
3) Check out some of your classmates blogs. You can access them by using the drop-down box on the class blog.
4) Write two comments on students blogs. Follow the format we used in class. See reminder of DO’s and sentence starters below.
5) If you have not completed your PE reflection form please complete at home by Friday. |
