Descriptive writing

We had another session sitting outside writing what we see, feel, hear, smell ....
When we returned to the class the students selected one of their favorite sentences / passages to share with the class.

I could feel the hard wood getting more and more comfortable with each passing second.

I see a bird and hear a gentle twittering sound.

I can hear construction workers doing their work. Bang, bang, bang.

I can smell delicious food being cooked, ready to serve for lunch.

I feel the wind blowing, but not too strong.

I am sitting here on the warm concrete, with my shoes in a patch of spiky grass.

I see water slowly dripping down my water bottle.

I see bees flying around the field finding flowers.

I can hear people building. Cutting, sticking and painting.

I am sitting on a hard white bench. I look around and see birds circling up ahead.

I feel like I am in a military base just looking at all the buildings painted in a white color. It is kind of a boring color.

I can hear the disturbing and annoying noise of construction.

The tree is casting a shadow. As if it wants to give birds a place to rest.
