Today we have been working on the column strategy for large number addition questions.
We explored what large numbers really mean, watched tutorials, and tried some questions of our own by breaking the number into place value sections.
Mr Matt also visited us and showed us how to create an iMovie using the class iPads.
The students will use this information to start creating movies in groups tomorrow. 
This afternoon we also tried to answer some questions about magnetism.
- What is magnetism?
- What is the pull or push distance for magnet of different sizes? Why is there a difference?
- Do magnets work with different insulators between them? What are some good insulators?
- Which items are magnetic? What are these materials made of?
