Today Mr Matt reviewed shrinking videos and saving them on G drive.
He also explained how we can embed these documents onto our blogs.
Here are the instructions in case students forget a step.
We practiced today and students uploaded some short videos onto their blogs.
How to embed on your blog (from G-drive)
- Search for video by file on you G-drive (type: video)
- All your video’s will be listed. Select the one you want to embed
- We recommend that you rename your document after you upload to G drive. This makes it easier to find the right video. Ie change IMG 0077 to ‘Shouting video’
- Open new tab - your blog and create a new post.
- Go back to G drive tab
- Click (Open) button then click (embed item) from drop down box :
- Copy the HTML code
- Go back to blog (HTML view) and paste the code
- It is now embedded into your post.
If it is too big …
- Read the HTML code.
- You can change the height and width within the code.
- IE Change Width 640 to 540 pixels, change height 480 - 360 pixels
How to embed a G doc or presentation
