Homework - due 31st October


Home Learning Activities Grade 4/5 – MS ALISON Due: Friday 31st October
You can begin if you want a head start .... last homework for Energy unit.
Unit - Energy
  • A proposal for change: Energy conservation, carbon footprint. What is your carbon footprint? How can you take action at school or at home to reduce your carbon footprint? 
  • Watch the clips I sent you if you are confused
  • Write 3 + paragraphs explaining what a carbon footprint is, your energy consumption and how you can reduce your consumption.
  • Provide personal examples of how you can make changes in your daily choices.

Math
  • Use your homework book for working out.
  • Decide on what you would like to work on: Division or Multiplication
  • Complete as many activities as you can.
  • Ms. Alison will need to see your working out!

Art / Unit
  • Make a short comic or poster (A4) that would be appropriate for younger students about how to save energy. Some of these will be selected and displayed around the school.

Reading
  • Read each day for at least 20 minutes.
  • Record your reading in your reading log each morning.
  • Record books read on Biblionasium.
Presenting
  • You will share your proposal and comic / poster with the class on Friday

  • Tuesday 28th Oct - Bring your library books - book swap, PE
  • Wednesday  29nd  Oct -  PE, FL
