Home Learning Activities Grade 4/5 – MS ALISON Due: Friday 31st October
You can begin if you want a head start .... last homework for Energy unit.

	Unit - Energy A proposal for change: Energy conservation, carbon footprint. What is your carbon footprint? How can you take action at school or at home to reduce your carbon footprint?  Watch the clips I sent you if you are confused Write 3 + paragraphs explaining what a carbon footprint is, your energy consumption and how you can reduce your consumption. Provide personal examples of how you can make changes in your daily choices.
	Math Use your homework book for working out. Open IXL Decide on what you would like to work on: Division or Multiplication Set the timer for 30 minutes Complete as many activities as you can. Ms. Alison will need to see your working out!
	Art / Unit Make a short comic or poster (A4) that would be appropriate for younger students about how to save energy. Some of these will be selected and displayed around the school.
	Reading Read each day for at least 20 minutes. Record your reading in your reading log each morning. Record books read on Biblionasium.
	Presenting You will share your proposal and comic / poster with the class on Friday
