Wat Langka and David Holliday's photomontage

The Grade 4 students visited Wat langka for photography, sketching and sensory writing.
We also visited David Holliday's art Studio. David Holliday uses a range of artistic skills to produce beautiful photomontage's of iconic buildings in Phnom Penh.

I am sitting on the warm carpet at Wat Langka. It is dark and very hot. I see statues and monks praying. I see patterns on the wall, pantings of monks and Gods from thousands of years ago on the ceiling. I smell fresh air of the fan blowing on me. I hear people talking and birds chirping.

Today we went to David Holliday's art studio. Mr David is an artist who takes photographs and makes them into an interesting collage. He talked about his collages and photographs. It was amazing and cool. I liked how he actually made the images look like a painting. I really liked seeing his work. He has great ideas for his collages.
