Today we reviewed how to make an iMovie.
There are a few students in the class who have never made a movie.
Mr Matt created a short movie using the lyrics from one of JK Sampson's songs.

Here are the steps we followed to create an iMovie ...
You can refer to these steps if you are stuck when we try to make our own sample movies in class tomorrow.
- On iPad - iMovie Icon
- + New project / movie
- Select theme (this will affect text and transition options)
- Storyboard what you what to happen in your movie.
- iMovie has three sections 1-Preview, 2- Library, 3 - Timeline.
- Most of the time we work using the timeline.
- Start with a photo / image (ie skeleton)
- Insert image onto timeline
- Tap yellow handle to increase or decrease time
- When you use finger on timeline it is called scrubbing
- Pinch to position (choose what part of the picture to focus on)
- Put start of quote into movie
- T - add text (only white)
- O Spheres button - Change the color of the video
- Gravity - to move position
- Tap on video, keyboard up, add text.
- Centre - text is in middle of pic
- Lower - text is at the bottom of pic
- Add second picture (ie feet)
- T - Text .,, add next part of quote
- Add third picture (ie ear)
- T - Add text
- To add video - all - Select arrow down (add to project)
- Tap on clip
- Adjust sound button / volume of clip
- If want no sound ... 0%
- Microphone - Record speaking without all background noise
- Scissors button - Choose spot you like on video and split it
- The part you do not like you throw away
- Choose transitions - change from one scene to another
- Select length of transitions (open menu)
- Select transition - None, theme, dissolve, slide, wipe, fade
- Save - Change title
- Upload but no G drive option ... so Save Video (540p)
- Then upload file into G Drive
