Memory Poems

We have been busy writing poems in class this week.

We started with a memory poem. The students thought of a memory and wrote answers to the following questions. When they looked at their answers they realized they had written a poem.

Memory questions

Time of Year?
Time of Day?
How long did it take?
What was the light source?
Temperature? Weather?
Background noises?
Odors? Aromas?
Witnesses?
What did not happen?

What changed?

Here are a few examples ....
