Descriptive words for peace and conflict

The Grade 4 students thought of words they associated with peace and then conflict. They worked in pairs and organized their words using an A-Z grid and tried to get words for each letter.
We compiled one class list using all their ideas.

Students can use these words to get them started when thinking of creative sentences for their homework acrostic poems.

Students have a paper copy of all these descriptive words in their bags they can use when planning their poems.
