Case study and discussion

Today we discussed Malala, the right to education, ideological conflict, gender conflict and the Taliban.

We watched part of a documentary about Malala's situation and the response by the Taliban.
The students thought about other examples where girls / women do not have equal rights.

We thought about the right to vote, to drive, to have a bank account, to work, to be treated as equal to husbands and fathers.
