An activity where we worked on trust and revised angles.

This week we have started Geometry. We have calculated simple angles and familiarized ourselves with some Geometry vocablulary.

We have also been thinking about trust. Trust is a term that keeps coming up when we discuss good leaders. The students have been reflecting on who they trust and whether they are someone who is trustworthy.

We did a trust activity today in math. The students worked in groups and had to try to help the blindfolded group member get the prize without hitting any land mines. The blindfolded student was supported by a friend and had to listen to instructions. Ie Turn left 90 and take 5 steps forward. The instructions had to be clear and accurate so the blindfolded group member could avoid the obstacles set out on the basketball court.
