Reading maps and schedules

The Grade 5 students tried reading Grade 6 schedules and maps of the Secondary campus to help them prepare for the move.
They found out where different rooms are located, the length and number of classes each day and some of the names of the teachers.
Note: We used a sample of a Grade 6 students schedule for this year - not next years schedule.

The students added questions to the question box. I will endeavor to find out the answers to all these questions this week.
Some questions include ...

  • What do you do in the long homeroom once a week?
  • What do we learn in Science in Grade 6?
  • Does our email change or stay the same next year?
  • There was no swimming on the schedule. Do we have swimming?
  • On the example schedule the student had the same teacher for a lot of subjects. Will we have one teacher for many subjects?
  • Can we sit where we like in class or is there set seating?
  • Is there a lot of homework?
  • Is Managebac hard to use - as a student?
  • I heard there is a maximum days you can be absent. Is this true?
  • How do the afternoon C&S activities work? Do you get to chose your activity?
