Reminder - the home learning tasks that were assigned last week are due this Friday (4th Feb).
Tasks were set for two weeks.

If you have forgotten which tasks you need to complete check the earlier blog post - class blog.

You can use the labels on the right side of the blog to bring up homework tasks.
Click on 'homework' and all homework posts will pop up.

Creating movies from Conflict scripts

The Grade 4 students finished their scripts and storyboards for their conflict resolution play.
They then worked in small groups and performed their play. They assigned roles and worked co-operatively to complete the task.

The students will upload their movie to their own blog when we are in the computer lab tomorrow.

Finishing up mapping project

The Grade 4 student have been completing a town map showing their understanding of lines and angles. They have been working in groups and included a range of lines and angles in their design.

New Library is open for business

I checked out the new Library this morning. What a lovely environment to read and learn.

I have booked the new computer lab for tomorrow. When we go over we will explore our new Learning centre. We will have a session in the library on Thursday.

I also noticed that we have more shade in the playground area and the pool is full and back in business. 

It is lovely to be back!

Swimming and PE on Monday 29th February

Message from Mr Andy

On Monday 29th February The Grade 4 students usually have swimming but may have PE instead.
Please bring your swim kit and PE kit to school.

If the pool is full and has reopened there will be a swimming lesson.
If there are any problems with the pool there will be a PE lesson instead.

Class book - Nobel peace prize

Our class created a picture book together.
We used the book by Isabel Pin as a base and read her story but did not look at the images.
We added a few extra sections and drew our own images to match the statements on each page.

The book is titled 'When i grow up I will win the Nobel Peace Prize'.
