Conflict discussion starter

We watched the introductory scene from The Lion King in class today.
We thought about the perspective of all the characters and the conflict situations that arise in the opening scenes.

• Conflict with King Mufassa and Scar (Brothers - Scar wants to be King)
• Conflict with King Mufassa and Simba (Father / son - Disobedience)
• Conflict with Simba and Zazu (Zazu is supposed to keep him safe but Simba defy's him)
• Conflict between the Lions and the Hyena's (Lions are the leaders and have the power) 

We will use these conflict situations to think about conflict from different perspectives. What is the problem? How did it escalate? What do all the parties want / need? How can it be resolved?
