Man Choo Kim is a Grade 12 student at ISPP and the President of the Secondary Student Council.
Man Choo spoke to the Grade 4 students about his role as President and also his work as Secretary General of MUN (Model United Nations).
Man Choo asked to students to share their ideas about what a good leader needs to be. He then spoke about the attributes he thinks are important and explained each one. For example - he described how he listens to the opinions and ideas of many students and needs to be OPEN MINDED and consider many options before making final decisions.
Man Choo also talked to the students about challenges he has faced as a leader. He spoke about being shy and lacking in confidence as a Grade 4 student. He told the students about his move to ISPP, sharing his ideas, growing in confidence and working as a Student Councilor for 5 years and Student President for the past 6 months.
