Building confidence reading and writing big numbers

In math we have been working on reading and writing numbers.
We have been practicing adding numbers to place value charts and explaining the value of each number.

Today we took another step and played our Place value game with MILLIONS.
The students are gaining confidence working with big numbers.
They can write millions using a scaffold template.

Later in the week will will work in small groups to consolidate our understanding of Place value and how the value of the number changes depending on where it is placed in the grid.
