Editing and improving writing

The Grade 4 students worked on the first draft of their writing today.
They used the class checklist to see which items they had dome well and which could improve.
They then added more descriptive detail and finished their second draft.

1 thing I can improve ……….

The students then considered hooks / sizzling starts.
The students found books in the classroom with sizzling starts.
They selected one they thought was interesting and shared it with the class.
