Religious Persecution

There are many issues in this world, but one many people don’t think about much is religious persecution. Religious persecution is the systematic mistreatment of an individual or group of individuals as a response to their religious beliefs. Religious persecution has been going on for millions of years. Religious persecution has gone on for many years and has been aimed at all Religions at different times and it is still happening to this day. Every religion has been persecuted. The Christians were persecuted by the Romans, 80% of the Sikhs were slaughtered in India, Hitler and his Nazi party killed millions of Jews in WW2.
Some people say they we all have the right to free speech so people can tell others that their religion is wrong or that they hate their religion. However that often leads to physical abuse, which is not the right to free speech anymore. It is persecution. Some people are also being trapped in a country and have no way out and being found and slaughtered for their beliefs.
Anne Frank once said ‘People who have religion should be glad, for not everyone has the gift of believing is heavenly things’. If this is the case then why is it that for thousands of years people with all kinds of religions have been treated unfairly? Why do people make assumptions of others beliefs? Why is it that we are aware of this situation but not doing anything about it? What we can do is raise awareness and understand each other and learn about religions. Maybe then we can help religious persecution.
Endangered animals-
Tigers

Tigers are endangered because of the actions of humans. We use their bones in the medicine. We also kill them for luxury items such as mats or trophies. Tigers are killed for money. In the U.S tigers are sold for $800. There are 4 tiger sub species that have already gone extinct: Caspian, Javan, Balinese, South China tigers (the last one is “functionally extinct,” as it has not been sighted in the wild for more than 25 years.)
Tigers becoming extinct causes additional problems. If the tiger species get wiped out then the animals that the tiger eats like the bear can become overpopulated These bears then eat too much of the fish and the fish become endangered. The bears food supply is now low and they are and the bears are at risk. It is very important that we the tigers safe because losing one species can affect the entire food chain. This started to be a problem in the 1970s, when there were 9 subspecies of the tiger. Now there are only 30,000 tigers left. Its a big problem if the tiger species get wiped out there will be a follow on effect on the food chain, a lot of animals will be at risk.
Experts estimate that the tiger species will go extinct by the time I am an adult. We also need to stop poaching tigers for money. We should start saving their habitats, and we should stop killing them for medicine. You can help by adopting a tiger from WWF (like me). WWF are helping to save tigers from poachers. They rescue tigers and try to help committees find other ways to make money so they do not need to hurt tigers.
Stop Climate Change and Save the Earth
Climate change is causing big issues all around the world

Worldwide- Climate Change, which is also called global warming has been a big issue since 1940. Climate change is the change in climate. The earth is getting warmer every minute. Climate Change is the cause of many problems around the world and these problems are affecting humans and every living thing on earth. Climate change is threatening human health, causing diseases, weather disasters, and the sea level to rise. This is also changing the ecosystem, too. Why and how did this happen? The greenhouse effect, the greenhouse gase, are the main reason of climate change. There are greenhouse gases because of the fossil fuels in cars, factories, and electricity production. These actions release carbon dioxide.
There are many issues that climate change causes. As I said before, climate change causes weather disasters, including flooding, drought, wildfire, heatwaves, storms. Because of this, there are environmental refugees, and most of these environmental refugees are poor. Because they are forced to move, this causes more poverty which causes even more problems. Flooding and drought cause crops to die and food prices rise. This also has a big effect in peoples lives. Climate change also changes the ecosystem. Because of changes in nature, animals die, and this makes animals endangered and leads to extinction.
Climate change causes many many disasters, but what can we do to stop them? As there are many causes in climate change, there are many solutions in climate change, too. Many things that you do everyday changes the climate. First, you have to stop carbon pollution. You have to stop using fossil fuel and use clean, renewable energy. Second, you can get interest in what earth and scientists tell us about climate change. Third, you need to recycle, save water and energy, invest in green jobs, and clean energy, and create green homes and buildings. Last, you can get lawmakers to start limiting carbon pollution. Stop climate change and save the earth!
Endangered Animals

Tigers- These big cats are really endangered right now because are being hunted. There are even more animals, like the Amur Leopard that are just like the big cats. They too are going to be extinct soon. The animals are in danger because hunters are killing them for their skin, teeth or their paws and to make medicine or jewelry. The animals are also at risk because of habitat loss. Deforestation and wildfire are also harming these animals.
If an animals becomes extinct it is a major problem because there is a cycle call ‘Food Chain’. The food chain effects the animals because for example rabbits eat grass then fox eats rabbits and if the foxes dies there will be so much rabbits so they will eat all the grass and there will be no more grass and the rabbits will die off because there is no more grass to eat. Tigers started being endangered in 1970’s and if we don’t act right now by the year 2050 there will be no more tigers and our future children will never get to see the tigers anymore.
