Round 1 of Market sales

The Grade 4 students set up their shops and promoted their goods this morning.
They then had the opportunity to shop at the other stalls and purchase handmade items.

Each students had 6 Oompa Loompa's to spend and bought a wide range of treasures.

Each business worked out the prices for their stock and negotiated with customers to try to sell all of their stock. As the students gathered income the Bank visited each store to collect loan payments.

By the end of the First round of sales all Businesses in our class are in the black. They have paid back their set up Bank loan and also paid rent for their shopfront. All money they make on Tuesday is profit.

Next Tuesday we will have round two of sales. Each business is deciding how they will get encourage customers to buy their leftover stock. They are considering what items were the best sellers and which they may make more of on Monday. Some businesses are planning to offer more services on Monday. There has been talk about Claw back scratchers, Hair salon and Nail painting.
Other businesses are reducing prices, offering prizes and even lucky dips.
