We are surveying, collecting data, graphing it, and using it to make decisions during our market day preparations. To practice these skills complete at least fifteen minutes each day on Frontrow: Measurement and Data.

Unit - Design
Look at a banknote - what does it contain?
Design a banknote for market day.
We voted on Friday and our currency is called an Oompa Loompa
Take a photo of your bank note (front and back) and place it on your blog.
Bring a hard copy of 1 Oompa loompa to school so your classmates can vote on the banknote to be used. One Oompa Loompa design per class will be selected for our Market day.

Unit - Advertising
Look at advertisements you see in the coming week. You may see brochures, billboards, magazine advertisements, newspaper advertisements.
Select one and either bring a hard copy or send me a photograph.
You will share you ad with the class on Friday. The class will look at all the examples and think about features of a good / effective advertisement.
