We are working on Fraction problems in class. The students share their strategies for solving the problems as there is no one correct way to approach word problems with fractions.
Students drew pictures, used manipulatives, used division strategies and mental math skills to solve these problems. .
The students need to write their own fraction problem for a homework task and show how they came up with their answer in their homework book.
We will use these problems in Math classes in the coming weeks.
