Reflecting and thinking about days we cannot get to school

Today we had a think about our week.
We talked about what we did on the Monday when we could not get to school.
We also discussed what we would do so we were still thinking, learning and being creative if there was no internet.

My very creative class came up with many different activities we can still do if there is no internet.

Here is a summary of what we came up with ...

  • Read a book, a newspaper or magazine.
  • Write a story, a poem, a letter, diary entry or reflection.
  • Play a board game or card game.
  • Make a poster, crafts, knit, sew.
  • Practice Math - Ie word problems, Number line addition.
  • Make flip cards and practice multiplication.
  • Learn or practice a skill  - Bike riding, swimming, skateboarding, an additional language, badminton, handstand, cartwheel, tying shoelaces, juggling.
  • Teach a younger sibling, parent or guardian a new skill.
  • Be creative - cook, bake, or try to make something.
  • Watch a movie and write a review.
  • Shop for groceries with a guardian and estimate the money you will need and the change.
