Student reflections

Today people from the Deaf Development Program came and taught us Cambodian sign language.
It was helpful because I did not know any sign language. It was fun doing the actions. Maybe I can do some actions at home, show my mum and tell her what the signs mean. We played a game that was like charades. Everyone laughed when they tried the actions.

We learned signs like eat, right, wrong, understand, again, new, old ...
Some people acted out the signs. My favorite signs were old and beautiful.

I think it is good if you can do sign language very well because sometimes you do not know how to say it and you can use the sign. It is a little hard to remember them all but I enjoyed it very much today.

Today we learned that deaf sign language can be pretty hard. Some teachers from the DDP came to teach us and it was awesome!
I learn't many signs for words like delicious, toilet, beautiful, dirty, thank you. We had some volunteers to try some sign language and it was so funny.
