The students were given four speaking topics. They had a few minutes to think about what they might say for each topic and then randomly chose their topic by picking a Mentos from an envelope.
- The happiest day (Green)
- A funny moment (Pink)
- A scary memory (Yellow)
- A new skill I have learn't or can share (Purple)
Each students picked a colored Mentos and then had to speak for 1 minute about their topic.
It was a bit harder than you might think but lots of fun. We heard about scary rats, water slides, special trips, tennis lessons, skateboarding and much more.
This was an alternative to homework sharing as many students need to finish tasks. We will share this weeks homework on Monday.
