      Due  Friday 20th January

	Personal reading 15-20 minutes each day and record your reading in your reading log each morning at school.
	Book Summary (for students not involved in the Elementary production) Write a 2 paragraph summary of a book you have recently read. Make sure you answer key questions. Who, what, where, when, why? Share your summary on a Google doc with me - ready to post on your blog when we are in the lab on Thursday.
	Unit - Interview Central Idea:  Understanding our own and other people’s beliefs and values help us respect each other Make a time to interview an adult in your life. It could be in any language. This could be face to face, on Skype or via email or chat. Use the questions we shared in class to gather information about this person's beliefs. Record keywords during the interview. Once you have finished the interview, write 2 paragraphs on a shared G doc  explaining what you found out. You will add this to your blog in the computer lab on Friday. (Examples of questions) What is your belief system?   Why do you believe in it? What are your daily practices? What is a celebration in your belief system.  How and why do you celebrate it? Do you have a message for me? Do you have something that represents your belief system? What are some of your values and why are they important? Do you eat anything special (with regards to your belief system)? What kind of events do you have and why? Are there any special beliefs that you have? What are they? Why are they special? Do you have to go somewhere special to worship other than your house?
