The Students have started reading books related to our new unit for literature circles.
They will read and discuss the book they selected in small groups each week.
Hoot is a book with Environmental conflict. Roy moved to a small town in Florida and finds endangered miniature owls who are about to have their habitat destroyed.
The Clay marble is a story about a young girl Dara in Cambodia. Dara and her family leave their home and escape to the Thai border during the conflict in Cambodia.
