Some students liked having a choice, did additional tasks early on and were very organized.
However the vast majority found choosing which task to complete to be very difficult. Many felt overwhelmed and started to fall behind.
Many students also reflected that posting on the blog is a bit tricky and made the tasks hard to complete.
To help all students get organized and successfully complete their homework we will simplify homework when we return to school after the Winter break.
The students will have 3 tasks to complete in the week. They will write up a plan for the week - which task they will do each day. Each morning they will need to show me they have completed one task. By the end of the week the aim is that all students in the class will have completed all their homework.
