Welcome back

It was wonderful to have the Grade 4 and 5 students back in the classroom today.
The students had wonderful tales to tell of their weeks break and are ready for our final unit - How we organize ourselves.


Our final Unit of Inquiry is How We Organize Ourselves
Marketplace   20 Apr – 22 May

An inquiry into the interconnectedness of human–made systems and communities; the structure and the function of organizations; societal decision-making; economic activities and their impact on humankind and on the environment

Central Idea: Markets exist in order to fulfill the needs and wants of a community.

Concepts: Form, Function, Reflection

Lines of inquiry:
1) The development and marketing of a product or service
2) How a marketplace functions
3) Decision making in an economic system

Learner Profile: Reflective, Communicator, Risk-taker.
Attitudes: Enthusiasm, Creativity, Confidence.
